Organizing by professor Kao (高莉芬) , “Selected Readings in Chinese Mythology(中國神話選讀),” came to the Maker Space for collaborative learning on November 24th (Fri).

On the day of the course, students used a heat press to transfer their Mandala images that created on their own onto various objects, such as mugs, coasters, beverage bags, and keychains. It’s not only enriching the learning process, also allowing them to create unique customized souvenirs after the class.

*Mandala is derived from Sanskrit, meaning “circle” or “discoid object.” It typically presents with an abstract and orderly style, using geometric lines and shapes to form intricate visual patterns. The process of creating a Mandala is believed to have a unifying effect on the mind and body, and the artwork itself can reflect the emotional state of the artist at the time of creation.

Maker Space encourages creative thinking, and creativity should be no bounds.Interdisciplinary learning and integrated thinking are crucial skills for the future.
We welcome students and faculty from NCCU to the Maker Space for collaborative learning.
