「「柔軟的白，粗獷的黑」，創客空間帶領學員運用兩種截然不同的工藝，完成兼具對比美學與實用性的專屬杯墊。學員首先在 Canva 揮灑創意，透過熱昇華技術將絢麗色彩完美轉印至純白細緻的縫線皮革上；接著轉換材質，在質樸粗獷的黑岩石杯墊上，以 xTool F1 雷射雕刻機鑿出深刻的個性印記——一面是輕柔溫潤的彩繪，一面是俐落深邃的雕鑿，兩件作品完美交織出剛與柔的雙重奏。
課程由淺入深，帶領大家熟悉異材質的創作要訣。從 Canva 的圖檔尺寸、出血設定與色彩搭配，到針對皮革與岩石不同特性的參數調整（雷雕功率與速度）及機台安全操作規範，一步步引導學員穩紮穩打地完成熱昇華與雕刻的雙工藝流程。
收尾時的分享環節充滿驚喜：有人在白皮革上印下自家寵物可愛的模樣，也有人在黑岩板上刻出極具質感的幾何圖騰與人生座右銘。日常的靈感透過不同質地的承載，化作桌面上最迷人的風景。帶走的兩片杯墊，不僅是獨一無二的生活物件，更是親手將靈感落地的美好紀錄。
Guided by the concept of "Soft white, rough black," the Makerspace led participants to create exclusive coasters that balance contrast aesthetics with practicality. Participants first unleashed their creativity in Canva, using sublimation to transfer vibrant colors onto delicate, white stitched leather. Switching materials, they then used the xTool F1 to laser-engrave profound, personal marks onto rustic black slate coasters. Soft, warm painting met sharp, deep engraving, composing a perfect duet of contrasting textures.
The session progressed step-by-step, teaching the essentials of working with mixed materials. From setting up file sizes, bleeds, and color palettes in Canva, to adjusting power and speed parameters specific to leather and slate, along with safety practices—everyone was guided smoothly through the dual workflow of sublimation and laser engraving
The final sharing session was full of surprises: some sublimated adorable photos of their pets onto the white leather, while others engraved edgy geometric patterns and personal mottos onto the black slate. Everyday inspirations, carried by different textures, transformed into captivating desk landscapes. The two coasters they took home were not just unique lifestyle items, but precious records of turning their creative ideas into reality.
