SLA成品表面光滑精緻，適合製作精細的造型設計或小型零件的原型，但相對材料價格較高，且後處理相較於FDM較為複雜，需要使用酒精進行模型固化及機台清潔，或放入紫外線箱中另外照射以加強固化。
